nag, nag, nag.

if you are a parent maybe this post will help you not annoy your children as much as mine annoys me. here's a tip... stop nagging your kid and maybe they will actually do it..
yes, i'm independent and may not be like most kids (aka my sister).. but seriously all the nagging makes me not want to do it just to spite him. and this nagging isn't just the, "do the dishes" or "take your clothes upstairs"... no this is the, "why aren't you working out?","i told your friend i would pay him $20 bucks to get you to workout" (and i swear if someone comments and tells me to go workout...), "why aren't you getting a job" (i've applied to 4, I'M SORRY NO ONE'S HIRING RIGHT NOW), "seriously go apply to that place" "why is this application sitting on the counter and not at the place", "(oh yeah and if i forgot to mention it the last 4000000000 times today) GO WORKOUT"
like i'm sorry i'm not a 49 year old freak who runs marathons and can't live without running 3-4 miles a day, and i'm not my sister who's a 400m track star, and no i don't want to go workout because i'm busy doing homework and if i wasn't doing homework and working out then that would be a problem too..
parents think they can't win.. check yourself is all i gotta say.

there are days i want to work out, sincerely, but i'm not just because i'm not gonna give him what he wants because i'm stubborn. like today for instance, i'd been thinking about what i was gonna do on the treadmill tonight (as far as intervals and stuff) and i get home and all i hear are 1,000 questions about working out and blow up.. now of course i'm not gonna work out because that would just make things too easy for my dad. so thanks, i blame a bad summer bod on you, dad.

i don't mean to offend any adults who might be reading this.. and hey, you might agree with the father.. but either way please take this as a lesson... leave your kid alone and see what happens..

Spring Things!

I went out to lunch and to the mall on saturday and before i went my plan was to do a FOTD blogpost since it's been so long since i have posted on here... but as you can see, i kind of forgot about my camera issue and the horrible quality! so it didn't work very well but i figured i would just upload the pictures that i had:)

basically, it's just light, frosty eyes with a little bit of navy shadow in the outer corner and navy liner on the bottom. (if you don't already know, my obsession lately has been color liner on the bottom!

What was supposed to be a nail post....

as i'm sitting here bored having a chill sunday-

I figured since i just painted my nails that i should do a blogpost on it considering i've been kinda MIA lately. which i really have no excuse for:(

i used:

sally hansen double duty (base & top coat)

forever 21's love & beauty line nail polish in "silver" (creative i know.)

sally girl black nail polish (there is no name but its just a matte black)

and got... (dun, dun, dun)

I actually really like it! now my nails are not very easy to paint because the nail beds are so small and i just have to work with what i got.

i never worry about getting a little nail polish on the skin around the nail because it comes right off when i wash my hands or when i shower!

now for some randomness?

i'm eating so delicious grapes.

i really want to be tan, i mean i try the whole tan in the summer and pale in the winter thing and its fine for a little bit but when the outside looks like this

i just can't help but want a little color! so i'm trying this loreal sublime bronze mist thingy and i'll let you all know how i like it!

CRAZY ELF SWATCHES/HAUL!

i need help.
i ordered all the studio blushes except for one that i already have (i still included that one at the end:)

from the left to right: peachy keen, mellow mauve, berry merry, fuchsia fusion

from left to right: tickled pink, blushing rose, pink passion, gotta glow (highlighter)

candid coral

i noticed a few blushes that were very similar:

these are blushing rose and berry merry (in that order) blushing rose is more pink based and berry merry is more red based but besides that they are about the same!

these are tickled pink and mellow mauve(in that order) same thing, the only difference is the color base!

i got 9 mineral eyeshadows and 2 matte eyshadows

sorry the swatch is kind of blurry.. left to right: celebrity, caffinated, glamorous

(this would be a really pretty smoky eye!) left to right: elegant, confident, socialite

from left to right: royal, natural, partier (matte)

these are the 2 matte eyeshadows.. the green is "mint" and the brown, "burnt brown"

here are a few random things i bought that i either couldn't or just didn't swatch:

the lipgloss is the mint one in "nashville" and the lipstick is "fantasy"

here are a few "tools" i picked up also.. from left to right: the smudger "brush", the blending eye brush, the studio line andgled foundation brush(which i used today for the first time and absolutely love it!!!) and the mechanical eyelash curler!

Mila Kunis at the 2011 Golden Globes Inspired Makeup Tutorial!

hello wonderfuls!! (you are wonderful if you are reading this right now)
i was watching the golden globes on saturday night with a group of friends and i was trying to figure out which makeup look i wanted to recreate.. it was a tie between mila kunis and sandra bullock! mila won because her look was something fun and like nothing i had ever re-created before!! sandra's was gorgeous but a sultry smokey eye and that's nothing new!! on to the pictures.. oh and one more thing before "you go" sorry i haven't been keeping up with my blog.. i had finals.. and unfortunately school always comes first (blah, blah, BLAH!)
