High School Beauty for a High Class State of Mind: Many things to tell you and some green things too:)

hey everyone! so i've been super busy lately.. as i might've said in my last blog post- but to be honest, i haven't felt "in the video making mood" for a few weeks now so i've been trying to film videos where i don't have to really talk or be very peppy. as some of you might know, my aunti (different than my other "aunts" this one is/was the only "aunti"!) passed away about a week and a half ago... i was very close with her therefore her death had a great effect on me, though, through other experiences i've learned how to hide those feelings 99% of the time. ANYWAYS, as this is a beauty blog not a pour my heart out blog, the main point is that i've been gone for 19 days this month and haven't been feeling all that ("spirtually") well. i know this is no excuse but i just wanted to fill you in!

i was going out to lunch and then shopping with a good friend of mine and i was getting ready. i figured i didn't want to leave you all hanging for too long! so i filmed this video of me getting ready and then the outfit that i was wearing! (i didn't mean to be talking so quietly at all.. it was a combination of a quieter tone and i think i changed some setting on my camera and didn't realize lol) i know it's hard to hear but just bear with me this time-- at least you still get to see the outfit.. oh, and that messy room is DEFINETLY not mine! hahaha

other exciting news: my sister got a canon rebel something something.. i don't know the whole wierd, pointless name of the brand new, very nice, and great quality camera she got (hear the jealousy) but it sort of works to my benefit because she is now my new photographer!! i don't have anything better to film my videos with yet, but anything is better than nothing, right?
we still have to play with it a little to make sure it's on the right setting and the flash is right so it portrays the most accurate picture of the colors.. as youll notice in these pictures- the color is kind of washed out but the quality is so clear!!

ALSO i'm sure someone on youtube is going to get mad at me for using mac eyeshadows because they're not inexpensive and I'M TOTALLY AWARE OF THAT!!! and i'm so super duper sorry but it was a christmas present (that i have an upcoming video on) and i'm just really excited about them so i want to use them! there are always amazing drugstore dupes for any mac shadow! you just have to do a little looking! so please forgive me!?!
